Marriage/Couples Counseling - Marriage and relationships can be difficult. Loving well is a process that requires growth and honesty. Whether you are dealing with the normal challenges of relationship or facing the pain of loss that comes through betrayal or other difficult behaviors, Lezlie can provide the guidance and support needed to create a relationship that is grounded in health and integrity.
Pre-marital Counseling - Marriage is one of the most important decisions of life. Pre-marital counseling guides couples in evaluating their reasons for marriage, explores expectations for marriages and equips couples with skills for good communication and decision making. 6-8 sessions generally provide a good foundation for building a life-long relationship.
Family Counseling - Transitions through family life are normal and yet difficulties tend to most often occur during these developmental shifts. Lezlie's training in systems theory as a marriage and family therapist specially equips her for supporting families as they navigate these processes of growth and change.
Individual Counseling - Lezlie is skilled in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns. She is able to support clients in healing from histories of abuse or neglect. Her training in EMDR and FSAP equip her to work with clients who have experienced trauma or struggle with addiction and other compulsive behaviors.
EMDR and FSAP treatment - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Feeling State Addiction Protocol are both approaches to counseling that address trauma, fear and compulsive behaviors. Lezlie is level 2 trained for EMDR and is trained in the Feeling State Addiction Protocol.
Workshops or Classes - Lezlie is certified in the Scream Free Parenting curriculum. She is also available to lead classes or to present workshops focused on marriage. Contact Lezlie for more information and to schedule a class or workshop.
Sessions are 45 to 50 minutes and are $150. Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 until 1:00. Lezlie does not bill insurance and will provide what clients need to seek out of network reimbursement through their insurance company. Clients should note that a behavioral health diagnosis is necessary for insurance reimbursement and insurance typically does not cover counseling that is focused primarily on relationship needs. The fees for workshops and classes vary depending on the specific service.
